Senior Lecturer in Biology
The Department of Biology at the Illinois Institute of Technology is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Senior Lecturer position in Biology. This position will provide an initial 3-year contract. Any renewals are subject to the needs of the Department. The anticipated start date is August 17, 2015. Qualified applicants will have a PhD degree in the biological sciences and experience teaching university level biology lecture and laboratory courses. Responsibilities will include teaching the equivalent of 3 courses per semester (9 credit hours) according to department needs, as well as student advising, and other service to the department and university. We are particularly interested in individuals with demonstrated ability to teach genetics, molecular biology, and developmental biology, although teaching experience in any area of biology may be considered.
