Co-Terminal Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry / Master of Food Safety and Technology

This degree, offered jointly by the Department of Biology and the IIT Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH), allows students to earn both a bachelor's and professional master's degree in as few as five years. It is designed for students who want a career in the food industry.

Students should declare their intent to pursue the degree as early as possible to facilitate advising. They are formally admitted after their third year of study (must have a grade point average of 3.3 or better).
