Co-Terminal Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry / Master of Science in Computer Science or Master of Computer Science

This co-terminal degree allows students to complete both a bachelor's degree and master's degree in as few as five years. Graduates will dual biochemistry and computer science degrees are expected to be more competitive and have better job prospects for both biochemistry and computer science.

Students may opt for one of two master's degrees: the master of science (MS) in computer science, which requires a thesis and prepares students for a Ph.D. program or a research career in industry; or a master of computer science (MAS), a professional degree that does not require a thesis and that is designed for 1) professionals currently working in business, government, or industry who want to advance their careers, or 2) recent computer science graduates who want to extend and deepen their knowledge of the field to gain a competitive edge in the job market.
