I plan to give a series of talks, introducing the framework of energetic variational approaches (EnVarA) and its applications in complex fluids and biology. The examples includes, polymeric fluids, viscoelastic materials, liquid crystals, and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). Moreover, I will spend more time on transport of charged particles in biological environments. Both modeling and mathematical issues will be discussed and explored.
