Analytical Methods Development Certificate

The Analytical Methods Development Certificate Program will provide you with knowledge of techniques and devices for sampling in diverse media. Isolation, concentration, and fractionation of analytes and classes of analytes as well as methods in complex matrices with an emphasis on methods development and validation are discussed.

Program Requirements 

To earn a certificate, you must successfully complete at least 12 semester credit hours from the courses listed at the program requirements link below, earning at "C" or higher in each course with a cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0, or a "B" average. However, should you subsequently apply and be admitted to a master's degree program at Illinois Tech, you only will be allowed to apply approved coursework in which you have earned a "B" grade or higher toward the master's degree program.
