The objective of this certificate program is to train working professionals in the area of U.S. regulatory requirements. Many life science industries, both in the United States and abroad, are subject to US regulations, especially in the fields of big pharma, food manufacturing, and biotechnology. Admitted students can enroll to earn the Certificate in Regulatory Science, or simply take courses as part of their continuing education. All courses are available online.
To earn a certificate, students must successfully complete at least 10 semester credits hours from the courses listed at the program requirements link below, earning a “C” or higher in each course with a cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0 (“B” average). However, a certificate student who subsequently applies to and is admitted to a master’s degree program at IIT will only be allowed to apply approved course work in which he/she has earned a “B” grade or higher to the master’s degree program.
